Global Maritime Operational Picture (GMOP)

Secure connectivity and content exchanges across the GMOP are necessary to raise geospatial situational awareness and empower those transiting the global commons.

Collectively, the Global Maritime community includes participants residing at facilities shore and many more at-sea transiting the global commons. At times, there are situations where more insight into the maritime domain surrounding these vessels is necessary to limit/reduce the risk of encountering natural or man-made threats - pirating or other hostile actions such as mining Sea Lines Of Communication (SLOC), or positioning anti-ship cruise missiles at key maritime choke points. These types of insights can be obtained through participation in Local, Regional or Global Maritime Operational Picture (GMOP) services.

Working with governmental organizations, commercial shipping and partner technology companies, GMW is constructing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) built upon scalable and secure services deployable to distributed locations ashore, maritime vessels and aircraft operating at sea.
